Aleksandar S. Kirilov is a Bulgarian-born artist, whose mentors, supporters, and life-long friends include the renowned Atanas Dafinov and Atanas Yanev. From them, he gained both the technical proficiency and passion that would guide him down the path towards flowering into a professional artist. “They taught me everything I know about art and the great magic that exists in creating Art,” says Kirilov.

With shows in Miami and Europe under his belt, along with a list of commissioned murals in tow, Kirilov now lives in Miami Beach, where his visual language flourishes . In his paintings, his Bulgarian past merges with a Miami Beach edge that singes his canvases in a fiery array of color and phosphorescence. “I see no end to the stream of ideas and dreams my art inspires in me,” says the artist.
