Born in San Cristobal, October 9, 1953, Dominican
Republic. From 1970 to 1974 he studied at the National School of Fine
Arts. Later he worked at the Museum of History and Geography of Santo
Domingo in 1977. From 1974-78 he taught sketching at the Candido Bido
Art Center. Then, he also worked from 1977-79 for the Dominican Man
Museum. He was a sketcher , from 1978-1982 at the Public Works Office
and also collaborated with Architect Eugenio Perez Montas in the
restoration projects of the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo.
Blanco was Professor of Drawing from 1978 to 1996 at the Art School of
the Humanities Faculty and at the Architecture Faculty of the
Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). His Individual
